Finnish-based event marketing and -management software company Lyyti Ltd expands international business – even in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.
In France, Lyyti Ltd. has purchased the local distributor, who has been selling the company's core product – Lyyti Event Management Software – in the French market. The acquisition brings Lyyti five new employees and roughly 100 customers, including brands like Carrefour and AG2R La Mondiale.
In Sweden, the company has made a key recruit, as Anja Bexelius was appointed Country Manager of Sweden. She has extensive experience and an excellent track record within B2B sales and events.
"We have been able to grow, even though we are in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, by providing tools to our customers to organise both hybrid and virtual events. Our international partners have created a foundation for even faster growth in France and in Sweden now backed by over 70 Lyyti professionals; we can support these local teams even better," explains group-CEO Petri Hollmén.
"The need for events has merely changed; it has not disappeared, and the need to prove their effectiveness has grown even more. All this is in the core of our value proposition, and hence we expect to see significant opportunities to grow in all markets during next year," Hollmén continues.
After these acquisitions, Lyyti operates in three countries with its own local company and serves over 1500 customers and 80 000 events annually.
