Some Lyyti family members sharing their stories
Janne Turunen, Lead Developer
I work as a Lead Developer in our Backend Team. The Backend Team is responsible for Lyyti's architecture, database structure, API and integrations. Lyyti's architectural cornerstones make sure that Lyyti is robust, high-performing and scalable while keeping the developer experience high. Our daily tasks include creating new features as well as enhancing old ones, which includes co-operating with customers and different teams in Lyyti. The best thing about Lyyti is our tribal spirit. We have a workplace where everyone can safely make mistakes while finding the best solutions – an absolute requirement to make creativity thrive. Things like these should never be taken for granted.
Juhani Siro, Key Account Manager
My name is Juhani, and I work in the Sales Team in Finland. I'm based in the Lyyti HQ in Turku, yet my job as a Key Account Manager often takes place in the capital area where I meet with customers at least once a week. I'm responsible for making sure that our customers succeed in their own business with the help of Lyyti. When our customers are happy with the product and use it to its full extent, it maximises the customer lifetime value, and everybody wins. Working with our customers is fantastic; interaction and co-operation with our customers are motivation boosters in my daily work. The best thing about working at Lyyti is the flexibility of combining work and family. No other employer has been as supportive as Lyyti when it comes to family matters and the importance of family.
Jussi Heikkonen, Sales Operations
I'm Jussi, and I'm a part of the Sales Operations Team at Lyyti HQ in Finland. I'm based in Tampere but can be spotted at our other offices as well, mostly our Turku HQ. My main task is to support our sales teams with their work and develop our practices in sales and account management; I have ownership of our CRM and other sales-related services we use. Also, I help our prospects and customers with Lyyti integrations so that they can put their Lyyti event and participant data to the best possible use. The best thing about Lyyti is the continuous collaboration with our customers, with the common goal of creating better events – both from participant and organiser perspectives. One of our top priorities is that our customers reach their event goals while continually creating meaningful encounters.
Laura Suni, Presales Specialist
Laura Suni a.k.a Lasu. I've worked at Lyyti for almost three years now, and it's been a roller-coaster ride (in a good way). You could say that I've taken my career far from my previous profession since I worked in the private healthcare sector for over ten years before joining Lyyti. My work in pre-sales includes finding prospects and contacting organisations that could benefit from the Lyyti event management software. I'm known for talking all the time and loving to hear how people are doing. We're a fantastic pre-sales team of three where everybody always helps each other and shares best practices. I love writing, and once a month, I interview a happy customer and write about them in Lyyti's blog. I do many kinds of sports in my free time. My speciality is wrestling where I also coach 2–5-year-old kids. I almost forgot to tell you that I'm originally from Tampere, a city that's known as the Manchester of Finland.
Morgane Paternoster, Event Strategist
I’m Morgane, and I work as an Event Strategist in Lyyti France. I’ve managed the pre-sales team for two years now, and my daily tasks include contacting prospects and clients plus making sure we have sales meetings regularly. I also have strategic responsibilities within prospecting, target groups and content creation for the French market. My background is in marketing and communications but inspired by my entrepreneur father, I turned to sales. I love challenges and working with people. Exercise is an essential part of my life, and in my free time, I’m very active with different sports, such as dance, CrossFit and jiu-jitsu. I also enjoy reading, especially literature about personal development. The best thing about Lyyti is the values we convey: honesty, transparency, trust and incredible team spirit – we’re truly a family. We respect one another and share benevolence within our community. On top of this, working at Lyyti is fun!
Riitta Tuomala, Support Specialist
I'm Riitta, and I work at Lyyti's customer support in Turku. We have a fantastic team spirit, and we work tightly together to solve our customers' issues, big and small. We help our customers create better events via phone, chat and emails. We also provide online courses and support materials. One of the best things about working at Lyyti is that we're welcomed as we are: diversity is accepted and respected. Being able to be individuals in our everyday work reflects on our customers as well, and I think this is one of our gems.
Susanna Joki, Global Sales
I'm Suski, an event enthusiast and customer value-driven sales professional. I get excited about finding new business opportunities and find it thrilling to discover the best ways of helping our customers pursue their business KPIs via events. I work in the Finnish sales team, and I'm also responsible for our global sales negotiations. Here at Lyyti, I value the passionate and professional working culture. We work hard and have fun doing so. I'm happy to work in a growth company that helps global businesses gain measurable growth with their virtual and onsite events.
Petri Hollmén, CEO
I’m Petri Hollmén, founder and CEO of Lyyti. I founded Lyyti to solve my own problem: time-consuming event management processes. Now, and more and more each day, Lyyti proves the effectiveness of events. Lyyti still saves a lot of time, but through measuring, evaluating the results and integrating to other marketing, sales and HR softwares, our customers are finally able to prove the effectiveness of their events. My team is the management team, but I feel that every team is ”my team”, since I get to work with all our business divisions. I work mainly in Turku, but when needed, I also visit our *other offices in Helsinki, Stockholm, Amsterdam and Paris. My primary responsibility is to make sure that everybody knows where our business is going and why. My impact shows mainly through the management team. The best thing about Lyyti is that I feel that all of my colleagues are in this for the right reasons; everybody strives for making the next day even better and never leaves a customer in despair.
*In the name of sustainability, we aim to keep travel to a minimum.
