ECommerce extraordinaire, Jarkko Kyttänen, joins Lyyti’s board

Lyyti is a market-leading event management software company, and Jarkko Kyttänen is the newest member to join its board of directors. Lyyti searched for a true expert in the digital development and transformation field to support its future growth and digital development journey and found Kyttänen’s expertise to be a great match.

Kyttänen has a commendable track record in shaping the digital transformation in the biggest organisations in Finland. “I have planned and executed digital transformations as long as the term has existed for companies like Sanoma, Osuuspankki and now SOK,” says Kyttänen when describing his career path.

Kyttänen is a senior business professional and leader with strong strategic and hands-on experience in business and change management and digital transformation.

“At the moment, I’m working as the Chief Digital Officer for SOK. This means running and developing leading eCommerce services in the grocery business (S-kaupat.fi), consumer goods business (Prisma.fi) and the beauty and fashion business (Sokos.fi),” explains Kyttänen.

Unique opportunity to shape event data management

Lyyti is on an international growth path, developing its business in Finland, Sweden and France. Kyttänen joins the board on the heels of the company’s big investment on a modernised platform that will usher in a new era in event data management and analysis.

Kyttänen has experience in shaping B2B technologies and sales, communicating the benefits of data and digital product development, so he finds many exciting verticals at Lyyti where his knowledge can benefit the business.

“In search of profound brand moments, I see companies adding events to their marketing mix more and more. Many businesses haven't discovered platforms like Lyyti yet, and instead rely on email and spreadsheets for their event management. With the event management features that Lyyti provides and the first party data that Lyyti is able to capture about events is unique,” sums Kyttänen about the reasons he’s excited to join the board of Lyyti.
